You're talking about a universal issue. I actually do a little of both. I use Akismet as a plug in, but I like to be able to respond when appropriate and the only way to do that is to read the comments and then reply. Good luck.

Thanks. We have a lot of sites, both static html sites and blogs. Everything we do is in the music, music entertainment, and music education niche. So yes, we create posts and articles for many sites, but all under our umbrella.

If you do not mind me asking, exactly what are you utilizing to prevent junk comments? I noticed your web site is nice and totally free from all the spam bots leaving comments. I have got another website myself, and I like to keep comments open so I don't have to come on and approve them all the time, but the spam plugins I've tested out are usually failing to stop even the most obvious and basic spam responses. Is there anything reasonable out there that does a good job or is my only hope to keep them moderated or just close them all together? Thanks, Lashaun Lapete
